We are excited to announce a new collaboration between THE Tech (CAEDMI) and Lucid Microsystems, a leading developer and manufacturer of GaN PMIC and power solutions.
This partnership is built around the LUCID–CAEDMI Project, which will focus on characterization and analysis of GaN-based integrated circuits (ICs). Over the course of three months (September–November 2025), our teams will work closely to deliver valuable insights and technical solutions to advance next-generation semiconductor technology.
Project Scope
GaN IC Characterization – conducting detailed measurements and evaluating performance under various test conditions.
Bench Data Collection – gathering critical measurements to support troubleshooting and improvement.
Mass Sample Data Collection – analyzing large volumes of IC samples to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Expected Outcomes
The project aims to:
Accelerate the identification and resolution of technical issues,
Enhance the performance and reliability of Lucid’s GaN ICs,
Strengthen the long-term technical partnership between Lucid Microsystems and THE Tech (CAEDMI).
Activities and Timeline
CAEDMI will set up the evaluation boards, perform data collection, and deliver comprehensive reports, while Lucid will conduct advanced analysis and guide iterative improvements. Regular joint sync meetings will ensure smooth progress throughout the project.
The collaboration is structured as a project-based agreement, with a budget of $4,500 and a timeline of September–November 2025, culminating in a final report at the end of the period.
This project marks another important step for THE Tech in building strong international partnerships and contributing to the advancement of semiconductor technologies.
